Below are three different options that Advantage Floor Care does to maintain or restore your wood, parquet, laminate, pre-finished, or engineered floors.

With all three options you have the option of the Satin or Semi-Gloss Finish. These options concern the sheen level only as both are clear coats. Both are included in the prices given. Hi-Gloss is available upon special request.

With options #2 and #3, you have the option to change your natural floor colour using a minwax stain (50 cents extra charge per square foot).

Please give 7-10 days notice upon booking jobs, or email for lead times.

All furniture must be removed from the areas to be serviced. Advantage Floor Care does provide quotations for moving the cusotmers' furniture at a price competitive to that of a moving company.

All prices are guidelines only, and are subject to change from season to season.

Option #3

Sanding and Wood Solv Refinishing

When to do

The customer is concerned with scratches and wants minimal disruption to there home and indoor environment.

What

Wood Solve urethane is twice as durable and scratch resistant than other urethanes on the market. There is minimal odour and is an eco-conscious option.

How

We would start by sanding your floors to the untouched wood. All sanding is done with bags on our sanders, bagging off rooms to contain the dust and running the vacuum continuously throughout. After this has been completed, the same day we can refinish your floors with the necessary amounts of water-based Catalyzed urethane. As this urethane dries within just one hour, refinishing usually take 3-5 hours to complete.

  • Eco-conscious as the urethane is low in VOCs.
  • Minimal disruption to your home as you can walk on the floors just 4 hours after the job is complete. May put back the furniture 24-48 hours after job is complete.
  • The urethane does not yellow in time as that of oil based urethane.
